Windows 7 Beta

The Windows 7 operating system is in the beta stage now. The public was allowed to download the Windows 7 Beta for testing purposes so as to send feedback about it to the Microsoft Corporation in case of bugs, errors, and problems in the Windows 7 Beta operating system.

The availability of the download of the Windows 7 Beta on the official Windows 7 website has already ended.

The announcement from the Windows 7 Team on the Windows 7 Team Blog for the dates of the shutdown of the general availability of the Windows 7 Beta on the official Windows 7 website can be found here.

Also according to the Windows 7 Team in their blog post here, product keys for the Windows 7 Beta will continue to be available on the Windows 7 Beta download page which is on the official Windows 7 website. So if you have the Windows 7 Beta but didn’t get a product key you will be able to do so even after February 12th, and MSDN and TechNet Subscribers will continue to have access to the Windows 7 Beta bits throughout the Windows 7 Beta phase. The above dates do not apply to MSDN and TechNet Subscribers.
